Holy Martyr Sabinus the Egyptian

Sabinus the Egyptian. lived during the reign of Diocletian in 299. He came from the city of Hermoupolis-in-Egypt. While he was hiding with other Christians in a little house outside the city, the idolaters were looking for him, because the Christians honoured him greatly and because he was a nobleman and because he surpassed all the others at the zeal of faith. So, he was brought to Arrhianos, the governor of the city, and confessed his faith in Christ and was executed.
